Packlane Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Packlane, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply to the Packlane mobile application for iOS and Android.

Packlane is a personal, offline-first travel packing list app. It generates packing lists from your trip details, lets you build and save templates, organize items into bags, pack for a family, and export your data. The app stores your content locally on your device and does not provide an account system or server-side storage of your packing data.

Packlane is free to create blank and manual lists, and smart and template lists generate for free and remain fully visible. A premium subscription unlocks the ability to check off the full list, family packing with age bands, and other premium capabilities. Exporting your data remains free on every plan.

• Subscriptions are offered as weekly and monthly plans, billed through the App Store or Google Play and managed by those platforms.
• Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Because your data is stored locally, you are responsible for keeping backups. Packlane provides a JSON export you can save and restore yourself, but we are not responsible for data lost due to device failure, deletion, or uninstalling the app. We recommend exporting a backup if your trips and templates are important to you.

The Packlane app, its name, design, and software are owned by TrackIt and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy, modify, or distribute the app except as permitted by the app stores' standard license terms. You retain all rights to the content you create.

Packlane relies on third-party services, including Adapty for subscriptions, Amplitude for anonymous analytics, the Meta SDK for advertising measurement, and an optional third-party weather service (such as Open-Meteo). Your use of those services through the app is also subject to their respective terms.

Packlane is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated lists or quantity suggestions will always be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, missed items, or travel costs, arising from your use of or inability to use Packlane.

We may modify or discontinue features of Packlane and may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
